Oakland Pittsburgh Portrait Session – The Soffietti Family
Today’s post features this beautiful, Oakland Pittsburgh Portrait Session. This is one of my favorite locations to shoot at, especially during golden hour. Here are some of my favorite shots from the Soffietti Family photo session outside of the Frick Fine Arts Building of Oakland, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I first met Nia while photographing her brother’s wedding a few years ago. I was instantly drawn to her energy and became sooo excited when she first asked me to photograph her maternity session. We photographed her session at Phipp’s Conversvatory and you can check out the images from that session here. From that session, I’ve photographed her family’s annual holiday portraits. I have truly enjoyed watching her family grow.
This session was another, annual holiday shoot. It was also her second maternity shoot as well! Both times, Nia chose gorgeous, velvet gowns. I’m obsessed with her vintage-inspired fashion! Each year, she intentionally chooses locations around architecture. If you’re familiar with Pittsburgh, then you know it’s the perfect place for historical buildings!
