Sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos.

We check in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.

The big day
It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. Just know we're excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about three weeks of your wedding. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.

Engagement Sessions are the perfect way to celebrate the upcoming big day. Without the pressure of time on your shoulders, you can relax and enjoy yourselves in front of the camera. It's a wonderful way to "practice" before the wedding day, and I'll be there to guide you every step of the way. I get a lot of couples that say things like, "I just hate having my picture taken" or, "I don't know how to pose." Well, unless you're a professional model, there is no way ever that I would expect you to pose or know
what the heck you're doing. That's where I come in! I make it fun - it's laid back and really just an experience you'll love by the end of it. Oh and PRO TIP: Schedule your hair and make-up trials for the morning of your engagement session! It's the perfect way to save money, while looking your absolute best. I have so many great tips and advise when planning out your engagement session, that I've created an entire separate prep-guide. It's free to all of my couples! Just one of the many ways I make planning easy for you.

IS IT NECESSARY TO MEET IN PERSON BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?
While it is great if we can meet in person prior to your wedding, if you are planning a wedding from another state, don't worry. We can discuss details on the phone, e-mail or via Zoom/Facetime. When you arrive in town we can meet up for coffee to go over any last minute details.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?
I first picked up a camera seriously when I was a teenager (35mm film days), and I fell in love with documenting moments and life's story. But it wasn't until I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Photography in 2013 that I took it on as a full-time career. So, we're talking 9+ years now as a profession. Man, now I feel old. Haha!

DO I NEED AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
That totally depends on your needs. A lot of couples that also book an engagement session use their photographs for their save-the-dates, invitations, website registries, guest books, framed prints for their guest table, bar, and their house... and of course Facebook & Instagram! Plus, it's a way for you to get a little practice in front of the camera before your big day and it gives us an opportunity to get to know each other. :)
FAQ
DO YOU OFFER ANY PRINTS, ALBUMS, BOOKS, WALL ART, ETC.?
Totally! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls and in your fine art heirloom albums. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery!
FAQ
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, I do! Traditional payments are 30% due at the time of booking (when signing your contract) and the final 70% is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding day. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch the final balance into equal 1/3's or 1/4's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
